Is Fields of Mistria Multiplayer?

Farming sims and multiplayer go together in many players' minds. Here's the honest status of co-op in Mistria and what we know about the future.

The Short Answer

As of the 1.0 release

Fields of Mistria is a single-player game. There is no official multiplayer or co-op mode, and the developer has not announced plans to add one as of this writing.

Why Players Ask

The genre's biggest hits (think Stardew Valley) made co-op a must-have for many. Mistria's cozy world and town-restoration loop feel like they'd shine with a friend — so the demand is easy to understand.

Current Options

  • Play on your own — the game is designed and balanced as single-player.
  • Steam Remote Play Together — not officially co-op, but you can share a screen with a friend for joint decision-making.
  • Mods — the modding community occasionally experiments with co-op-adjacent tools, but nothing replaces a true multiplayer mode.

⚠️ Don't Trust "Co-op Mod" Claims

Be careful with unofficial multiplayer mods — they can corrupt saves or break after updates. Stick to well-rated mods from the Mods guide if you want to experiment.

What to Watch For

Multiplayer is one of the most-requested features in the community. If NPC Studio announces it, this page will be updated immediately — check back, and follow the official YouTube for announcements.
