Fields of Mistria is available on Windows PC via Steam and is Steam Deck compatible, per the official FAQ. The game launched in Early Access on August 5, 2024, and reached its full 1.0 release on August 5, 2026 — both releases PC-only.

Since the v0.16.2 engine migration (July 2026), the game also has native Steam Deck support and runs on Linux through SteamOS — officially supported only via Steam Linux Runtime 4.0 on SteamOS, not on other distros.

Nintendo Switch & Switch 2
There is no Switch version and no Switch 2 version, and neither has been announced. NPC Studio's only statement is that it is "currently evaluating additional platform support." No console port has a date, a platform list, or a confirmation. No release date is given in the FAQ checked for this page.
Xbox & Game Pass
NPC Studio lists console platforms as TBA. That does not settle PC Game Pass availability: a PC subscription and an Xbox console release are separate questions. See the Fields of Mistria Game Pass status for the dated subscription check and official evidence.
PlayStation 5
Not available on PS5 or PS4, and not announced. Press coverage of the 1.0 launch reiterated that NPC Studio would evaluate potential console ports only after 1.0 shipped, so PlayStation sits in the same "evaluating" bucket as Switch and Xbox.
Mac
No native macOS release is announced in the developer's platform FAQ. Support for Windows does not, by itself, confirm compatibility with Mac-based virtual machines or compatibility tools.
GOG & Other PC Stores
Fields of Mistria is not sold on GOG — Steam is the only store listed by the official site, and no DRM-free release has been announced. Players are actively requesting a GOG version on the forums, but as of August 2026 those threads have no developer response. Beware of unofficial key resellers; the official FAQ points only to Steam.
