Twelve villagers can become your partner. This guide covers heart levels, romance events, marriage requirements, and what happens after the wedding.
Romance in Mistria follows a heart system. As you befriend a candidate with gifts, conversation, and quests, their heart level rises through tiers. Certain tiers unlock romance events — short story moments that deepen your bond.
| Candidate | Vibe | Gift Direction |
|---|---|---|
| March | Grumpy blacksmith, secretly soft | Ingots & smithing items |
| Ryis | Nature-loving outdoorsman | Foraged & fished goods |
| Hayden | Hardworking farmhand | Produce & cooked meals |
| Balor | Witty traveling merchant | Rare & exotic items |
| Eiland | Bookish archaeologist | Relics & knowledge |
| Olric | Easygoing handyman | Tools & stew |
| Reina | Colorful artist | Dyes, paints, flowers |
| Valen | Caring doctor | Herbs & teas |
| Juniper | Bubbly witch | Crystals & moon items |
| Celine | Gentle botanist | Flowers & seeds |
| Dell | Curious inventor | Scrap & gadget parts |
| Caldarus | Mystical dragon spirit | Lore & rare gems |
If you want to marry Caldarus, keep in mind he's a late-game candidate tied to Mistria's magic storyline. Other candidates are available much earlier — pick who fits your playstyle and stick with them for fastest results.
Your spouse moves in, helps around the farm, and unlocks new dialogue and events. Some candidates also bring unique perks or recipes — a nice long-term payoff for all those gifts.
High friendship with everyone unlocks town-wide events. Use our Characters and Gifts guides to plan your route.
